Senior Pastor

Pastor Chris and Julie Dutruch are blessed to be the Senior Pastors of Celebration of Praise.  It is with great excitement that they lead people in pursuit of spiritual, relational, and personal growth as disciples of Christ.  By leading with a spirit of excellence, Pastor Chris and Julie find it easy to motivate believers to get excited about serving the Lord.  Their purpose stems from a desire to engage in REAL Ministry for REAL People:  Relationship Building, Equipping Disciples, Affirming People, and Leadership Development.

Pastor Chris Dutruch has ministered at numerous camp meetings and conferences all across America.  Throughout his ministry, he has served as an evangelist, senior pastor, and most recently, as the Regional Evangelism and Home Missions Director for the Church of God in Delmarva D.C.  His passion for cross cultural and generational ministries makes him a great asset to our community.   Julie is known for her love of people and for bringing women together to break down barriers.  Her ministry is one of affirmation and instilling Godly confidence in women, strengthening them and helping them to realize and utilize their gifts and talents in the Kingdom.  One Heart Women’s Ministry was birthed in Julie’s spirit with a burden and desire to unite women in spirit, mind and accord.  They have two wonderful sons, Tyler and Hunter, who are both very active in ministry.

Together, Pastor Chris and Julie are a ministry team offering wisdom beyond their years to strengthen the body of believers and reach the lost and hurting.  They are known for their love and compassion for God’s people as they minister the umcompromising Word of God.  They count themselves privileged to lead the people of Celebration of Praise, where it’s more than a church…it’s an experience!
